Merging Historic Charm with Modern Innovation
Skyline Steel has relocated to the Lowenstein Building in Rock Hill, SC, a historic textile mill originally constructed in 1929 and now revitalized into a modern business hub. Taking over the fourth floor, Skyline Steel sought a contemporary, high-performance workspace that would honor the building’s legacy while embracing cutting-edge workplace design.
PMC was selected for this project due to our innovative design solutions and ability to execute on an aggressive timeline. The 20,000-square-foot upfit transformed a cold shell into a Class A office space defined by clean lines, a minimalistic aesthetic, and highly ergonomic furniture built for longevity and performance.
The Lowenstein Building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has undergone a remarkable revitalization since 2016, blending history with forward-thinking design. PMC is proud to have contributed to this transformation, delivering a workspace where heritage meets innovation—creating an environment where Skyline Steel can thrive for years to come.
